Community Lunch

Join the League of Women Voters SouthCoast for a Community Lunch at the Wamsutta Club on September 10 at noon. Registration is required as we have a limited number of seats. A $10 donation is suggested—we accept cash and checks.

The menu includes meat or fish, rice or potatoes, vegetable of the day, dessert of the day, and coffee/tea.

We welcome guest speaker Celia Canavan, Executive Director of the League of Women Voters Massachusetts (LWVMA).

Celia is a community organizer and policy professional who comes to LWVMA with a demonstrated background in intergovernmental affairs and a commitment to voter engagement and civic education. Previously serving as the Director of Government Affairs for the City of Brockton, Celia worked in this capacity to streamline processes for applying for federal funding opportunities, engaged municipal offices in civic development, and co-managed the start of the Brockton High School Massachusetts School Building Authority project;…
