Save the Date: Upcoming Ballot Forums
The League of Women Voters SouthCoast is proud to co-sponsor, along with the Coalition for Social Justice, the YWCA, NAACP New Bedford, and the United Interfaith Action of SEMA, to present the United Interfaith Action Ballot Question Forums, offering SouthCoast residents an opportunity to learn about the ballot questions, hear diverse perspectives, and participate in informed civic dialogue.
Forums will be held in New Bedford on Thursday, October 1, at Keith Middle School, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and in Fall River on Thursday, October 22, at Good Shepherd Parish, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This event is open to everyone. Please invite your family and friends!
LWV SouthCoast Chair Eileen J. Marum will be educating voters about Ballot Question 1, Expanding the Public Records Law, reflecting the League’s commitment to transparency, informed participation, and accountable government.
